TRIP ITINERARY

1

Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park (Time: 2 to 3 hrs.)

After breakfast we will start Serengeti wildebeest migration safari to Tarangire National Park one of the famous Parks in the Tanzania northern circuit with a large number of Elephant populations. Large herds of Elephants, Giant Baobab trees and the Tarangire River are the highlighted features of Tarangire National Park. Tarangire River starting from Kondoa highlands and crossing at the middle of the park is the only permanent source of water in the entire park. Animal available are lion, leopard, hyena, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, zebra. For bird watchers this is the garden over 400 species have been recorded including the endemic species of Ash Stalling. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park and then overnight and dinner at your accommodation of your choice.

Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park (Time: 1 to 2 hrs.)

After breakfast, you will drive across the base of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park which is one of the beautiful and best parks in Tanzania and is known for its tree climbing lion spending much the day time sleeping on acacia trees. The park has a lot of underground water streams that feeds the Lake Manyara and makes the park green throughout the year. Animals to be seen are Giraffes, Buffaloes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Hippos and Many antelopes, Hyenas and leopards. Bird life is rich in this park for both aquatic and forest birds, flamingos are the main birds dominating the lake feeding on green algae. After game drive we will take you to your accommodation for dinner & overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in the morning, you will start your journey to Serengeti National Park with game drives and reach Naabi Gate. After registration and other park necessities you will start your first game drives in Central Serengeti. Serengeti is the most amazing place and it is the one of the world’s wildlife sanctuaries. The endless plains of Serengeti are of about 14 763 square kilometers and the plains are accommodating the Migration herds estimated to be of over 1.5 million of wildebeests, Zebras and Thomson gazelle. From December and March, the herds are on the Southern Serengeti at around Lake Ndutu and Salei plains where breeding and nursing takes place. July & August, will be on Northern Serengeti start crossing Mara River on their way to Masai Mara in Kenya. The Great Migration attracts the attention of predators like Hyenas, Leopard, Lions, Jackals, birds of prey are also involved. For preparation of evening overnight and dinner, we have to directly go to your accommodation for rest.

Central Serengeti to North Serengeti at Mara River

After morning breakfast, start early and spend some time at central Serengeti before heading to the North for game drives and viewing Migratory wildebeests. You will go to the river to see animals crossing.

Full Day Game Drives in Northern Serengeti

Accommodations : Client’s selection public campsite/ tented campsite/ Lodges.

Spend the golden 2 day-adventure in Northern Serengeti following the Migration and the crossing. An early Morning game drive allows you to see some predators coming back from their long night of hunting and other animals coming out from their hiding place or a group of lionesses organizing an ambush or eating along the road. Therefore, both two days will be for just doing game drives and Serengeti Migration Viewing. Back to your accommodation in for overnight and dinner.

North Serengeti Plain to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

During a day of Wildebeest Migration after breakfast start your journey and game drive all the way to the Central Serengeti and for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en route game, arrive at your accommodation in Ngorongoro Conservation Area before or during the sunset.earty dinner and another night by the fire of relaxation and conversation under the sweeping majesty of the star bright African night out upon the ‘Endless Plain’.

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, you will get down to the Crater floor for an adventure game drive with packed lunch box which will be served in the Crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater has been recognized as a nature wonder of the world. Ngorongoro Crater is home to a large number of animal species living harmoniously with Masai cattle that descent into the Crater floor for grassing and drinking. Ngorongoro Crater is among the very places in this world where the rare Black Rhino are living in their natural habitat. And other animals like elephant, zebra, buffalo, hyena, Jackals, lion, leopard and many antelopes are be seen walking around the crater floor. Many bird species are also inhabiting the Crater. Late afternoon drive to Lake Eyasi the place for bushman.

Activities at Lake Eyasi – Arusha/Moshi

In this day you will wake up early and morning prepare yourself for hunting with the Hadzabe Tribe in which the hunting will include a tuition on survival skills. The Hadzabe is one among three groups of bushman lives in hunting with bow & arrows including gathering of fruits, roots & tubers just as much as humankind lived in Stone Age. The second group is of Datoga “The Blacksmiths” and trade developer over centuries & still practiced it same way just as before. They make arrow heads for Hadzabe as well as brass trinkets, some are available for sale. Late afternoon drives back to Arusha/Moshi
