Starting from Arusha City or Moshi Town, this safari is a great choice for travelers who want to experience the famous Serengeti Migration in a short but rewarding itinerary. It is simple, well planned, and gives you a chance to enjoy the endless plains of Serengeti, wildebeest herds, zebras, big cats, beautiful landscapes, and the natural wildlife beauty of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Your safari journey begins with your arrival in Arusha. You will spend the first night in Arusha City before going into the parks. This night gives you time to rest after your flight, prepare your safari luggage, meet your safari guide, and get ready for the next day’s adventure.

On the first day of Safari, your guide will pick you up after breakfast and start the drive to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through local villages, farms, open countryside, the Great Rift Valley area, and the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands before reaching the wide plains of Serengeti.

As you enter Serengeti National Park, the landscape opens into endless grasslands filled with wildlife. You may start seeing zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and sometimes predators along the way. After arrival, you will enjoy a game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

On the second day of Safari, you will spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park. This day is planned to follow the best wildlife areas depending on the season, animal movement, and the location of the migration herds.

During your Serengeti Migration game drive, you may see large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains in search of fresh grazing. The migration also attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and jackals, making this safari exciting for wildlife lovers and photographers.

Depending on the time of year, your guide will choose the best Serengeti area for the migration experience. The herds may be found in the southern Serengeti and Ndutu area during the calving season, in the central or western Serengeti during movement season, or in the northern Serengeti during the river crossing period.

On the third day of Safari, you will enjoy another morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Morning hours are often good for wildlife viewing because many animals are active, and the light is also beautiful for photography.

After the morning game drive, you will continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The scenery changes from open plains to cooler green highlands with beautiful views, Maasai areas, local villages, and forested landscapes. You will arrive near the crater area or highlands for dinner and overnight stay.

On the fourth day of Safari, you may enjoy a scenic morning in the Ngorongoro Highlands before starting your return journey to Arusha. Depending on your final safari plan, route, and accommodation location, this day may also include short wildlife viewing on the way out of the conservation area.

After the final safari experience, you will begin your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your travel plan, you can be dropped at your hotel, Arusha Airport, or Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Throughout this safari, you will travel in a comfortable 4x4 safari Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. This gives you a clear view for wildlife watching, photography, and enjoying the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania.
